1014 – the space for ideas located on Fifth Avenue in New York City. 1014 is a not-for profit organization that offers trans-Atlantic perspectives on today’s pressing global topics in a variety of formats including multi-faceted projects, exhibitions, performances, and talks.

Want to join? Here are the three phases of the Global ClimateTech Bootcamp

Phase 1
Selection Events:
Pitch for Climate Virtual Roadshow

Selected start-ups will have the unique opportunity to pitch in front of experienced founders and investors at the Pitch for Climate Virtual Roadshow.

Phase 2
Virtual Bootcamp

Selected winners will be invited to the Global Virtual Bootcamp curated by industry leaders to advance your business and leadership journey.

Phase 3
Showcase (US & Europe)

And then…8 global businesses are invited to our US (New York City) or Europe (Frankfurt) Showcase, to showcase their progress and make meaningful connections.

Pitch for Climate Virtual Roadshow -
How it works

Apply to pitch at our virtual Pitch for Climate Virtual Roadshow selection event for a chance to join the Global ClimateTech Bootcamp

Here are our selection criteria:

Your startup is based in either Europe or the United States
Your startup solves a problem directly related to one of our problem areas

You can commit to join the virtual bootcamp for 4h/week between 7 August - 1 September 2023

You or a co-founder must join all sessions for at least 4h/week during the bootcamp

Available to join key events & the virtual Bootcamp

All startups:
Pitch for Climate Virtual Roadshow selection event (Virtual) on 19 & 20 July
Virtual Bootcamp from 7 August - 1 September
(4h/week minimum)

US startups: 
Travel to US Showcase in New York, on 19 September at NYC Climate Week (Travel & accommodation for 2 nights - 1 Founder is covered)

EU/UK startups: 
Travel to Europe Showcase in Frankfurt, Germany from 13 - 14 September (Travel & accommodation for 1 night - 1 Founder is covered)

Virtual Bootcamp Schedule

Week 1
Connect to your fellow cohort members

You'll meet your fellow ClimateTech Bootcamp cohort members, a group of 8 startups from across the US & Europe. You'll join a weekly group call and curated 1:1 introductions focussed on helping you with the biggest challenges your startup is facing.

Week 2
Build your support network

During this week you'll make the connections that help you expand across the US & Europe. You'll deepen your relationship with fellow founders, meet relevant mentors & investors to help you scale globally.

Week 3
Investor Readiness

In this week we'll refine your pitch and make sure it's suitable for a global audience of investors across the US & Europe. You'll receive expert mentor advice on crafting a compelling story and making sure your startup shines at our final showcase event.

Week 4
Investor Matching

Get introduced to the most relevant investors in our community based on your stage and fundraising goals. In this week you'll receive 1:1 introductions and grow your global investor pipeline.
